PDFescape is a popular online tool for editing PDF files, and we are always looking for ways to improve our product and make it more useful for our users. One feature that many of our users have requested is OCR (Optical Character Recognition), which would allow scanned documents or images to be converted into editable text that can be searched, copied, and pasted.
We are happy to say that we are currently exploring the possibility of adding OCR functionality to PDFescape in the future. While we cannot provide a timeline for when this feature will be available, we are actively working on it and hope to have it implemented as soon as possible.
We understand that OCR is an important feature for many of our users, and we appreciate your patience as we work to make PDFescape even better. In the meantime, if you need OCR functionality, there are other software options available that can do this, such as Soda PDF OCR Online tool. However, we hope that you will continue to use PDFescape for your other PDF editing needs, and stay tuned for updates on our progress towards adding OCR functionality.
